If you have a wayward son or daughter that you are praying for, or any family member for that matter, please be encouraged and keep praying for them.  God sees and He knows your pain.  He will use your prayers to draw them in:

“I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly. Many have not understood My love or the abundant life I have for them and they have gone astray. Don’t worry and don’t fret. Many of you have raised your children in the training and admonition of The Lord. You have taught them My character and Who I am. They have seen your faithfulness and Godly character at home. It is because of other influences that they have gone astray. Do not blame yourself and ask where you went wrong, for you raised them to follow Me. I see your broken hearts and your many tears and sleepless nights. Do not worry, but pray and I will work on their hearts and draw them back to Me. Some of you are worried about their very lives. Ask of Me and I will command My angels to have charge over them and keep them in all of their ways, regardless of what they’re doing. Because of your prayers, I will keep them and see to it that they don’t die. Pray in faith, trusting Me, and I will bring them back. I will turn the hearts of the children back to their fathers. Pray and believe and I will draw them back.”
