My Love is Your Peace in the Storms

If you are going through a difficult time right now, God is your peace in the storm.  You’re not waiting until you can have peace. He IS your peace IN the storms of life.  If life feels like it’s going crazy all around you, and God hasn’t intervened, yet, trust that He knows the right timing.

This flowed out while listening to “Perfect Peace” (Spontaneous Worship) by Amanda Cook and Steffany Gretzinger:

“I am your peace in the storm. I am your peace when everything around you is going chaotic. I AM your peace in the chaos of life. My love is holding you together in the storms of life. No matter how strong those storms are right now, or where those storms attempt to take you when they want to veer you off course. I am your Anchor and your Shelter. Trust in Me and rely on Me and I will keep you safe.

You are safe in My love. You are safe in My love. My love does not waver and falter in the storms of life. My love is not for you one moment, and wondering if it wants to stay by your side the next. My love is steadfast, unwavering, strong, reliable, passionate about YOU. That’s right. I am PASSIONATE about you. Crazy in love with YOU.

I do not waver back and forth between opinions of you. I am the SAME yesterday, today and FOREVER. My love is not like human love. It is perfect. Different from anything you’ve ever seen. Yes, I love you. In all of the chaotic mess, My eyes of love are on YOU. Not in disgust. Not wishing you would get it right. Wanting to help you and love you through it. Show compassion and mercy. Not judge you. I’m not thinking about how bad you are.

Recognize there’s a line I won’t cross. I don’t bring destruction into your life. Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy. I have come that you might have life and that more abundantly. The more time you spend with Me, the closer you come to Me and the more intimate you allow us to be, the more you’ll get to know Me, understand My character and get know what I will do and what I won’t do. I am your peace in the storms. Trust Me and rely on Me.”
