Song to the Lord –
Heal us, Lord
Heal us, Lord
From all of our pain
From all of our weeping
Heal us, Lord
From all of our anxieties
From all of our stress
Heal us, Lord
God’s reply –
“My children, I see that you are stressed. I see that you’re burdened. Lay all of your stress, all of your burdens at My Cross, and let Me be the Burden Bearer for you. I love you, I see you’re going through and I want to take your burdens from you.
Trust Me and rely on Me. You cannot trust in any other source. Only I will not abandon you. Only I will not let you down. Trust Me as your Source. Lean on Me and I will comfort you. I am your hope and your salvation. Your refuge and your peace. Your rest is found in Me. Keep your mind stayed on Me and you will be in total peace. I will give you rest from your accusers. Rest from your troubles. Total peace.
Do not fear. Don’t not fear those who come after you, for I will absolve you and give you total peace. Bask in My Presence, for My Presence is where you will find healing and deliverance and rest for your weary soul.”
Scripture References:
Matthew 11:28-30 (“28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”)
Proverbs 3:5-6 (“5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”)
Psalm 62:5-8 (“5 Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. 6 Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. 7 My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. 8 Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.”)
Isaiah 26:3 (“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.”)
The Lord the Shepherd of His People
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
3 He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever.
He Will Not Forsake His Saints
Psalm 37
Fret not yourself because of evildoers;
be not envious of wrongdoers!
2 For they will soon fade like the grass
and wither like the green herb.
3 Trust in the Lord, and do good;
dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.
4 Delight yourself in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him, and he will act.
6 He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.
7 Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him;
fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!
8 Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath!
Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil.
9 For the evildoers shall be cut off,
but those who wait for the Lord shall inherit the land….
